Inspired by an exotic insect that may be seen near the river and lake, Sunaka Jewelry designed a new Balinese jewelry collection called “Capung Collection” or in English means “Butterfly Collection”. As reflected in it’s name, this collection featuring exotic form of butterfly ornaminated by the polkadot pattern which strengthening the exotic impression of a woman. This collection is suitable for use everyday or on special occasions.

 

This collection made with a Balinese traditional silver craftsmanship method called “Jawan Geplak”, which is a special technique using silver balls (jawan) flattened by being hit with hammer. Jawan Geplak is then arranged in such a way to form an elegant ornamentation. This traditional method is one of the characteristic of the art of silver craftsmanship in the Celuk Village, Bali.
